Labor Day Celebration ~

It’s officially Labor Day!  Let the celebration begin!

Did you know that Labor Day is a federally celebrated holiday? That’s right!  The first Monday in September. Way back in 1894 (now there’s a bit of history) our fine nation celebrated the economic and social contributions of all workers.  Like today, the Labor Day’s long weekend is generally viewed as the last day of summer ~ an opportunity to head to the Jersey shores, before they close for the season, plan that family bbq, before the chill of fall sets in, and enjoy the kiddos before the schedules of school and college consumes the calendar.

Take time this weekend for some good ole fellowship, rest and relaxation and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.  Happy Labor Day!
