Strengthen Your Resilience – Inspiration from David Rintell, Ed.D

Did you ever have a physician who made your day just by being themselves?  I had the pleasure to work with one smart, caring and rather funny physician who truly impacted the lives of patients and families attending MS Educational Programs?  Years later, I still fondly smile when thinking about his encouraging words and presentations.

I’d like to share with you David Rintell, Ed.D., a psychologist who works at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.  Dr. Rintell is committed to sharing what he’s learned over more than 25 years of clinical experience.  As a speaker, his purpose is “to suggest specific, practical strategies to help people strengthen their resilience, become more productive, fully enjoy their lives and relationships, and improve their quality of life.  My talks have been described as motivational, inspirational, and humorous, while at the same time participatory and entertaining.”   These descriptives perfectly describe Dr. Rintell’s programs!

One such program that received rave reviews from myself and patients alike was Dr. Dave’s Top 10 Ways to Strengthen Resilience in MS.  Most people do manage to cope with the Many Surprise MS may bring.  That’s resilience.  If Dr. Rintell is speaking in your area, make plans to attend.  You won’t be sorry!  Below is his power point and PDF written presentation describing “some ways we can all strengthen and develop our ability to manage difficulty, to strengthen our resilience.”

At times, we may manage the difficult and turbulent waters of MS, isn’t is refreshing to know we can reach out to physicians, like Dr. Rintell, who will provide the tools necessary to help us be the very best we can be?

Thank you, Dr. Rintell, for making that difference and helping patients, like me, be the very best we can be!

“Count Your Blessings”
